A huge congratulations to Ben, who represented Sturminster Newton High School brilliantly at the Young Chef District Final recently.
After winning at school level, Ben travelled to Romsey to compete against an exceptional field of talented young chefs. He showed real Resilience, confidence, and creativity in the kitchen, and we are incredibly proud of his achievement.
Although he didn’t secure one of the top two places this time, Ben demonstrated everything we value at SNHS — Respect, Responsibility, and Resilience — and he should be very proud of how far he progressed.
A big thank you to Shaftesbury Rotary for organising the competition and for supporting our students, and to Ben’s family for their encouragement throughout the journey.
