School Performance at SNHS

At Sturminster Newton High School, we are proud of our students’ achievements and the progress they make across all key stages. Our commitment to high standards, excellent teaching, and strong pastoral care ensures that every student is supported to reach their full potential.

GCSE Results 2025

Our 2025 GCSE results marked a landmark year for SNHS, with students achieving the some of the strongest outcomes in the school’s recent history.

  • 67% of students achieved Grade 4 or above in English and Maths
  • 49% of students achieved Grade 5 or above in English and Maths
  • Attainment 8 score46.1
  • Progress 8 Score: We are not able to calculate Progress 8 scores for academic years 2024/25 and 2025/26. This is because there is no KS2 assessment data available to calculate the baseline for Progress 8 for these years due to Covid-19 disruption

These results reflect the values of responsibility, resilience, and respect that underpin our school culture.
