At Sturminster Newton High School, our community is one of our greatest strengths. We know ‘it takes a village to raise a child’ and are exceptionally grateful for the input, generosity, expertise, and support of local organisations in defining this. During the last week, we’re proud to highlight two wonderful examples:
A heartfelt thank you to Stalbridge Linen for their generous donation of tablecloths and chef whites to our Food Technology Department. Their support helps our young chefs present their dishes with professionalism and pride, and it truly enhances the learning environment in our food and hospitality spaces.
We also want to recognise Matos Butchers, who visited us last week to deliver an excellent butchery masterclass. Their time, skill, and enthusiasm gave our students a rare insight into professional craft and elevated their understanding of food preparation.
These partnerships reflect the spirit of collaboration that defines SNHS. Our students thrive when they can connect their learning with real people, real skills, and real community links. Thank you to Stalbridge Linen and Matos Butchers for being part of what makes our school special and the ongoing hard work of our staff in making these collaborations happen.
